DEBORAH ELLIOTT DEUTSCHMAN

Over the years, I’ve had poems and stories in a number of places including Carolina Quarterly, The New Criterion, New York Quarterly, The New Yorker, and Poet Lore; a novel, "Signals," published by Seaview Books/Simon & Schuster and PEI paperbacks. I have also written several original feature-length screenplays, as well as having collaborated on quite a few screenplays and film adaptations. I’ve had poems and stories, translated into French, in French publications. Currently, I am collaborating on a screenplay on Joan Mitchell and have just finished a novel that I was working on for many years. Since the poems I’m going to be reading are about artists, I should also add that I have been around and in the art world most of my life.
